Payment & Confirmation
An appointment is considered confirmed only after full payment is received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Appointments not paid for within this timeframe will automatically cancel.
Fees (2026)
Therapeutic single sessions: ₹3,500 / US$ 45 per session
Intake / one-off sessions: ₹4,000 / US$ 50 per session
No discounts are offered in 2026.
Subscription Sessions
If a client takes a subscription by paying for sessions in advance, the cost of the unused sessions may be refunded on request. All sessions may be rescheduled only if the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session time, subject to availability of the next requested appointment. Requests made within 24 hours are treated as late cancellations and the session is forfeited. Missed sessions and no-shows are not carried forward. All subscription sessions must be scheduled within 90 days of booking and the whole schedule of the set must be completed by 31 December 2026.
Intake / One-Off Sessions
Intake/ Check-in sessions must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling is permitted only if requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time, subject to availability. Requests to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations and missed sessions are treated as no-shows.
No-Show Policy
A no-show is defined as failure to attend a scheduled session or cancelling after the session start time. No-shows are strictly non-refundable, with no exceptions, regardless of session type.
Refunds (Where Applicable)
Refunds are issued only for cancellations made outside the applicable notice period. Where a refund is applicable, payment gateway fees, currency conversion charges, and bank service fees are deducted from the refunded amount. Refunds are initiated within 24 business hours and processed according to bank or payment gateway timelines, typically 3–5 business working days.
International Payments
International payments are accepted via bank transfer or PayPal. PayPal payments incur a 10% surcharge, which is already factored into the listed US$ pricing. INR pricing applies only to domestic payments. At present, no alternative international payment gateways are available.
Booking Communication
Clients will receive a booking and payment confirmation email. Please check spam folders and enable emails from counsellor@shamah.co. If confirmation is not received, clients must contact the practice by email or Whatssap. Clients must take responsibility for remembering their own scheduled appointments. The reminders are provided as a courtesy.
Disputes & Jurisdiction
All payment disputes, refunds, and chargebacks are subject to Indian banking regulations and Indian legal jurisdiction only.
