Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
An appointment is not considered confirmed unless a complete payment has been made up to 24 hours in advance. If a payment is not made, the appointment auto cancels.
You can cancel any appointment up to 24 hours in advance. After 24 hours the appointment is considered as confirmed and can only be rescheduled. We do not provide refunds within the 24-hour period. If you cancel before the 24-hour period we are able to offer you a full refund. However, please note that if you have made a payment through a payment gateway such as PayPal, currency conversion charges, service charges and gateway fees levied by the bank or payment gateway are deductible from the fee. This is not a cancellation fee levied by us.
No shows are non-refundable. No show indicates not showing up for the session or cancelling after the start time of the session. There is no exception to this rule. A no show on a reduced fee will be shifted to the regular fee even if you are on a subscription.
If you choose to cancel a reduced fee subscription, the pending amount (after deducting the used sessions) will be refunded with a charge of the discounted percentage. i.e. if your discount is 10% your cancellation fee will be 10% of the original undiscounted fee, if it is 15% cancellation will be 15% of the original undiscounted fee, and if it is 20% the cancellation charge will be 20% of the original undiscounted fee. As of now we only offer refunds for the Reduced Fee subscription. Other subscriptions are non-refundable.
International payments require a bank transfer. PayPal incurs a 10% surcharge since their rates are very high so please avoid this option if possible. This is already factored into the USD rate you'll find on the PayPal price point which is why it is higher than the INR rate on the appointment booking detail. At this point we do not have another international gateway partner, but we will update the website once this is possible.
You will receive an email with payment details once you book an appointment. So please do check your spam and enable emails from 'counsellor@shamah.co".

Refunds and disputes are subject to bank transfer regulations and India jurisdiction only.
